Nü Androids Is Breathing New Life Into DC Nightlife

Space Between welcomes BOLDEN. as part of their Who You Really Are US tour. 

BOLDEN. is a UK-based jazz house duo crafting a sound that lives between the dancefloor
and the improvisational freedom of live jazz, where deep house grooves meet rich
instrumentation and spontaneous musical interplay. Their ethos, Jazz that moves the room,
defines a style built for movement and immersion, connecting late-night energy with live
musical expression.
Formed by multi-instrumentalists Reuben Barrett and Catherine Rannus, the project merges
instinctive, rhythm-driven production with refined musicality. On stage, BOLDEN. is fluid and
high-impact, with constant instrument switching and real-time improvisation, following
sold-out UK debuts with a fully sold-out North American tour in Autumn 2025.

Returning this October, Nü Androids and Union Market District are once again taking over the street and bringing DC together for a free block party celebrating music, culture, community and the city we call home.

This time, we’re welcoming Marc Rebillet to take over the street. 

Known as “Loop Daddy,” Marc has built a global following through his completely improvised live performances, creating beats, vocals, keys and loops on the spot and turning them into an unpredictable mix of electronic, funk, soul and pure chaos.

And his energy feels made for this. The Street Fest Block Party is about bringing all walks of life together. Neighbors, music lovers, families, longtime Washingtonians and people experiencing our city for the first time, all coming together for one day, on one street, with music at the center of it all.
On October 3, we’re shutting down the street at Union Market, opening it up to everyone, and celebrating DC the best way we know how.

Tigres de la Noche welcomes Dusky back to Nü Androids, this time bringing Dusky’s genre-spanning UK club sound to one of our new homes for the very first time. The London duo has built over a decade of momentum through tracks like “Careless,” “Ingrid Is a Hybrid,” “Skin Deep,” and “Cold Heart,” blending deep house, garage, techno, and 90s rave influences into a sound that feels both timeless and built for the present. Known for driving percussion, warm low-end, euphoric melodies, and a deep connection to UK dance culture, Dusky’s sets move between emotion, energy, and late-night intensity. A special moment for the Nü Androids community, now reimagined inside a new space built for the next chapter.

Tigres de la Noche welcomes Pretty Girl for a night of dreamy electronic textures, emotional club sounds, and intimate dancefloor energy. The Australian DJ, producer, and vocalist has quickly carved out her own lane with a signature blend of house, UK-influenced rhythms, breaks, and atmospheric melodies. Known for her live performances that weave together her own vocals, lush synth work, and euphoric grooves, Pretty Girl creates a sound that feels nostalgic, heartfelt, and built for late-night connection. With standout releases like “Sun Phase” and “All Away,” along with performances across the global electronic scene, she continues to establish herself as one of the most exciting rising voices in dance music. His approach is rooted in flow and progression, creating a steady build that keeps the room connected from beginning to end. The UK producer has become a rising force in the underground house scene through releases on respected labels such as Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Kaluki, earning support from some of the biggest names in the game. Known for rolling basslines, crisp percussion, and dancefloor-focused productions, Josh Dean crafts a sound that sits perfectly between underground depth and peak-time impact.
